Andrews: “ Command, the V.I.P. and family are dead. (sighs) Requesting orders.”
Command: “Roger that Andrews. Abort the mission and assist in civilian evacuation. Gunship transport is en-route to pick you up.”
Jake:{Interior Monologue} “It wasn’t the sight of the bodies, or the disturbing violence. It was a flicker of an emotion and the look on their faces. {Jake looks at his teammates} That’s when I knew that there was something wrong with me. I don’t know what it is.”
(An explosion rocks the entire building). {Colossi storm up the stairs. The squad stumbles after the impact}
Andrews: Get to the roof! Move!
(More explosions explode. An explosion destroys the stairs up as the marines approach, the building shudders and creaks){Colossi are seen rushing up the stairs, and start firing through the floor. Bullets rip through the floor and walls around the marines)
Annete: The buildings coming down!
Eric: We can’t stay here!
(Ivan is eyeing the neighboring building as Annete talks. He fires his cannon through a blasted out wall, blowing a hole in the nearby building)
Ivan: Follow me!
(Ivan takes a running jumps and leaps across the ten foot gap into the nearby building.)
(The clones follow. Dog follows leaps without hesitation, Jake glances back at the squad before jumping across. )
Annete: Go! I’ll cover you!
(Annete starts to return fire back through the floor. {Annete’s aim is solid, he kills Talos constructs with his return fire} Eric and Andrews jump through the opening into the nearby building. After Eric lands, he mutters: “They don’t teach that in basic training.” Annete starts running out and begins his jump. A burst of Talos gunfire hits, leaving dents and black marks across his armor. Annete barely makes the jump, he lands hard and rolls to a stop)
Eric: Ann, you alright?
Annete: I’m fine, they didn’t penetrate the armor.
(A burst of gunfire rips into the room around the marines)
Dog: The top stories are collapsed- Gunship can’t land!
(Ivan looks out towards a sky bridge connecting two sky scrapers. There is an open platform on the far building. A burst of bullets punches through the wall between him and the stairs down. He reloads his cannon and rushes to the elevator)
Ivan: What floor are we on?
Andrews: Twelve, why-
(Ivan blasts the elevator doors open)
Ivan: Four floors, let’s move!
(Ivan jumps into the elevator shaft and grabs onto the elevator’s cables. He grinds down, sparks wildly flying from his metal glove. When he drops to his goal, he stops himself by kicking the walls, and blows the elevator doors out with his cannon, then hops out onto the floor. The squad follows Ivan, sliding down the elevator shaft and jumping out onto the lower floor.)
Eric: (Muttering) Damn, they don’t teach that *anywhere*.
( Andrews calls out instructions to gunship to land at the platform across the bridge as the marines run towards the platform.)
{In one continuous shot, the marines rush through the building and across the bridge as bullets spray the area around them and up to the platform. The camera is from the POV of one of the marines. The gunship lands as the marines reach the platform. Jimmy is on the gunship, gives them a hand onto the vehicle.}
Jimmy: (Jokingly, as he helps the battle damaged Annete onboard) Wow, and you guys aren’t any worse for the wear.
(The gunship takes off from the platform and flies away from the apartment buildings. The squad takes the chance to catch their breath and take seats. The squad’s armor is covered in burn and bullet marks. Andrews hangs over the pilot’s shoulder and eyes the massive starship hovering over the city.)
Andrews: The cruiser hasn’t fired a shot since we’ve landed.
Eric: Yeah, something’s up.
Jake: Maybe they’re overheating?
Ivan: No. (Everyone is silent as Ivan reloads his cannon, then straps himself into his seat.) {Ivan does not make eye contact with anyone. Annete sits and holds his head as he looks out upon the burning city. There are cars abandoned in the streets, all the signs of life are present, but there are no people anywhere. {Fire reflects off of Annete’s visor, he wears an expression of self-doubt.} Jake watches Annete. Jake looks out, and obviously does not see the same thing that Annete sees. Jake then looks at Dog. Dog is strapped in and alert, but oblivious to the city. Andrews gives co-ordinates to Jimmy. Jake straps himself , Eric straps in next to Annete.)
{Soldiers are guiding families of terrified refugees onto trucks and other vehicles at the evacuation site. Green smoke marks their position, the squad’s gunship is visible from the site.}
(There is a brief beam of light from outside the gunship, then an explosion rocks the entire vehicle. Radio chatter starts flooding from the cockpit.)
Dog: What was that?
Jimmy: Cruiser opened fire!
Andrews: They’re hitting us on the ground, we lost the evac site!
Jimmy: Strap in, evasive maneuvers!
(Annete quickly straps in, and looks out upon the destroyed evacuation site. Destroyed vehicles, dead and injured people are visible. Talos soldiers are start swarm the site.)
{A Talos soldier executes an injured person begging for mercy at evacuation site}
(The gunship screams past buildings and through the streets as the cruiser fires down. A few shots land near the gunship and rock the marines strapped inside.)
Radio: (Repeating, Almost lost amongst the clatter of the bombardment) Sounding general retreat- all units pull out. Repeat…
Andrews: We’re pulling out! Get us out of here!
(The gunship blasts out of the city at low altitude, escaping the bombardment.)
{The gunship flies out towards the camera then pulls up and away. The silhouette of the burning city and the Talos cruiser is seen in the background.}

Outlines
2054
It is the year 2054. A massive robotic terrorist attack destroys a city, and we follow those who respond to the attack. The squad consists of Jake and Dog, two cloned soldiers, Captain Andrews, a religious family man with strong morals, Eric, an intelligent and cynical medic, Ivan, a bestial combatant and ex-prisoner, and finally Annete, a lively and colorful young man. Jake, a cloned soldier, struggles with his identity. He was built to be a mindless killing machine, and begins to realize that he should be more. Meanwhile, Annete, a human marine is struggling with the destruction of war. Annete begins to lose himself through the horrors of war. He becomes steely faced and grim, beginning to lose his emotions and his humanity. Jake begins to discover who he is as he watches the men around lose themselves. The squad faces brutal hand to hand fighting, dangerous maneuvers from collapsing buildings, a painful patrol through a massacred school where Dog is killed in hand-to-hand fighting, and an intensely dangerous assault on a starship in which Ivan is killed. Due to the efforts of the squad, the nature of their enemy is uncovered. An experimental laboratory on a distant planet built a mainframe called Talos. Talos has achieved sentience through a computer virus. Talos is attempting to reach the theoretical point of singularity, a point where technology advances so rapidly that all knowledge is acquired near instantly. Talos is building a Singularity Device utilizing unlocked potential of the human brain. In order to protect the device and acquire more potential for the device, Talos harvested the people and raw resources of the planet. It constructed a powerful war machine in order to acquire the necessary ‘resources’ from humanity. Most Talos soldiers are half human, half machine, built from clones and factories. The location of Talos and the Singularity Device is discovered by the Marines. The Singularity Device is too well protected against weapons of mass destruction or a large ground attack. A large distraction force will busy the bulk of Talos’s forces while a suicide mission is launched to plant explosives and destroy Talos’s Mainframe and the Singularity Device. Jake is volunteered for the suicide mission. The suicide mission is successful in planting most of the explosives, but they are killed down to only Jake. Meanwhile Annete, Eric and Captain Andrews are part of the main Marine assault. The Marines have some initial success, but are cut off and pinned down, and start to lose ground. Eric is wounded, and Andrews is killed. Annete drags Eric in a retreat as most of the marines are killed in combat. As the fighting turns against the marines, Talos attempts to manipulate Jake into surrendering and becoming part of the singularity device. Jake resists and heroically sacrifices himself by detonating planted explosives, killing himself, the surviving marines on the suicide mission, and destroying Talos and the Singularity Device, ending the war. Talos’s forces fail in the field, the surviving marines are able to escape with little further harm. Jake is recognized as a hero, Annete and Eric return home. By the end, Annete has become an automaton from the harrowing fighting. Annete feels only a flicker of an emotion when he sees his loved ones, and is stunned when they explain that no-one had seen a casualty report. At the station he sees the sobbing widow and silent children of Captain Andrews. He gives her Andrew’s dog tags, then leaves, wondering about his future. The film ends with a recorded journal entry from Jake, who is remembered as a hero in a war memorial.
{Explores what is means to be human. Jake has an obvious disconnect in his interactions with normal people. He realizes that he is different, and begins to wonder to himself about his identity- is he truly human? Is he truly alive? As Jake contemplates what it means to be human, Annete struggles to stay himself. He faces truly harrowing experiences and sees utterly horrific acts, and becomes hardened to it- a mechanical grunt that simply goes through the paces of his life.}
Breloth the Paladin
A brash young knight lives in the world that King Arthur left behind. The ruling king orders an invasion of an enemy country. The invasion is ambushed and routed, crippling Albion’s military strength. Breloth was not sent on the invasion, his patron Lord Prydwen sent him on a special mission for the church. He was sent to eliminate a group of pagan druids who were suspected of sacrificing a villager. He confronts the druids, and they overwhelm him. The druids give him two options: be killed on the spot or give the druids a chance. He decides to learn about the druids and their ways. He takes what he learns from the druids and becomes an incredibly swordfighter. He struggles in political intrigue, faces an undead Roman Legion that besieges Camelot, a war with a foreign country, spends time behind enemy lines and learns that even enemies are people too. With each trial he becomes more and more of a heroic figure, changing drastically from the young, brash, close-minded zealot that he once was. Eventually he becomes a hero to all. He learns that Prydwen had orchestrated some events in order build up his and Breloth’s reputation, thus putting him in an excellent position for the throne. Breloth betrays and kills him, causing a civil war. Breloth unifies his country against Prydwen’s brutal followers, the Inquisition.
Characters are very dynamic. He falls in love with Arwen ,a skilled scout, their relationship becomes impossible despite their feelings. His cousin Aronis becomes a mage’s slave and is partially rebuilt with magical golem parts and fights with the Inquisition. Adrian is a mute wizard, who speaks solely through a summoned ice elemental, Crisp. Adrian stays with Breloth throughout all of his travels. His best friend Geoffrey is killed defending Camelot from the Roman Legion. They break free of the spell and are released into the afterlife. Renawen is a staunch ally of Breloth, he is by his side until he is killed fighting the Norse. Jarl Ulfgar is Breloth’s patron and advisor in the Norse lands, Breloth helps the old warrior Cu Chulainn finish his last battle.
Roman Legion is raised when Breloth is sent to recover important items from their tomb- the Romans are bewitched and believe that they are still alive and conquering an evil barbaric people. Breloth is sent to war against the Norse. He is brutally capable in battle, but increasingly becomes sickened by it. Breloth becomes separated from the Camelot army, and travels through Norse lands, experiencing their way of life, and meets many of the heroes from ancient Norse and Celtic mythology. Breloth helps stop a major battle from taking place, and ends the war. He returns to Camelot a hero amongst his people. Prydwen reveals that he was preening Breloth to take the throne by orchestrating his parts against the Legion and the Norse. Breloth is stunned by Prydwen’s evil manipulations, and kills him in a duel in Prydwen’s own chapel. Prydwen’s followers rally against Breloth, forming the Inquisition, and plunge the country in civil war. Breloth forms an alliance with the allies he has made, and is able to unify Camelot once again. Tired of the conflict that is so ingrained with his life, he places Adrian on the throne and fades away, disappearing into countries unknown.
Zevan
A stunningly beautiful magical land was created millennia ago by a god like wizard. An ancient war against the Demos, demons that possess armor or a body, had destroyed parts of the world. The world is surrounded by an evil black sludge that goes as far as the eye can see. ‘Drak’, an ostracized elf warrior is living a hermit’s life in an elven town. A friend of his, a human knight form Tayn, “Vevak”. Vevak has been assigned to investigate the reappearance of Demos and formally asks the elves for help. The elves are dismissive of Vevak, offering him Drak and no others. Drak’s friend Mina and the elderly wizard “Zoran” are angered by the elvish snub of the human and joins Vevak’s expedition.” Vec”, the second in line for the Elven leadership, joins the expedition, causing uproar as he leaves with the human.
The group travels to Evercastle, the site where the Demos War had been won, defeating an Archdemon. The site is surrounded by a bottomless void moat, and steep walls. Inside are four towers representing the four basic elements. Evercastle’s highest tower has been enveloped in a dark mist and a storm. Vevak’s expedition recruits “Kor” from the Evercastle and investigates the tallest tower. The Archdemon is being held on the tallest tower and breaks free of his bonds, killing Zoran and most Vevak’s expedition. Drak awakens in Tayn, and reunites with Vevak, Mina, Vec, and Kor, preparing to defeat the demon that has been freed. They need to reunite key elements and build an army. The first locale they travel is to a gigantic tree, in order to kill the Arak Queen. It is a gigantic monster, a cross between a scorpion and spider, nearly a hundred feet long. Drak kills the queen in a titanic battle breaking through the insides of the tree and the gargantuan branches. They continue to a Mermaid city to unleash a prisoner held in a giant crab prison suspended hundreds of feet above the water by three stone pillars. They are attacked by undead sky pirates during a storm, they travel through a town of fire elementals who live upon canals of lava. They see the ruins of the old war in the broken lands, where islands of earth had been ripped from the ground and hover in the air, suspended in space and time. They travel through the ruins of a castle that had been destroyed by the dragon of Frost, find it’s skeleton in the shattered throne room. They ride jellyfish-like people through nebulas of beautiful color. They visit Memory, a sentient stone with the entire world’s history recorded, and it slowly rises from the ground as present is added to the bottom in a dead, mysterious language. They meet the Blade masters of Earth, who can glide through the ground as easily as air, and use their dual swords to deadly effect. They meet Goliath, a stone giant that protects the world, constantly circling the world’s edge.
{ This can tap into a special, visual imagination. Beautiful, fantastic, and spectacular things can be found everywhere in Zevan. The audience should be excited for what comes next, to see what else there is. Character names should definitely be changed.}
Colovia
Orcs invade Colovia, a human country. Hundreds of refugees flee the southern portions of the Colovia. A group of refugees are conscripted to help Rowan, a Colovian scout. The rfugees prove themselves to be incredibly competent. Rowan discovers an ancient book, and they are immediately ordered to bring it to the GranKremlin, a massive mountain fortress. The group meets the Magister who explains the Book is an ancient sort of bible for the Archaens. It contains parts of a map that lead to a holy grail of sorts, The Deck of Faete. The Deck of Faete has the power to completely alter any aspect of the world. The Deck must be kept out of the wrong hands. An assassin attempts to kill the group and steal the book, but he fails because of the Magister’s magic. The magister has sensed an incredible evil that will happen in the future, and he believes that the Deck of Faete is related to it. Rowan and the refugees are assigned to a special unit directly under the Magister’s control, with the sole purpose of finding the Deck of Faete. The group searches for pieces of the map, leading them across the world, meeting Greven, a half-dragon warrior with a cold cynical sense of Justice because of being discriminated against. Nimblewright, an elemental prince of water banished to our world in a mechanical body. Ranger, a Colovian veteran, genius inventor, agile with several cool devices and weapons, who is seeking revenge against the Cult of Faete. Ranger carries gauntlets that can shoot poison darts from the backside of the palm, fire a chain harpoon from his gauntlets, creates traps, uses two short swords to deadly effect, and fights in the most creative ways possible. Aeirs is a knight of the old world who is on a vision quest with his weapon, the Arak-Ka, a double bladed axe weapon which he uses in incredible acrobatics. Captain Daniel Simone an overly ambitious pirate captain trying to use the deck of Faete for his own good- a cruel ‘Jack Sparrow’. His ship carries the party throughout the world.
They defend the City of Bulgaria in a hopeless battle, Travel the oceans, are attacked by undead sky pirates, travel to the fortress of Disciplined enlightenment in a world of clockwork gears, travel through the Meso-American temples of the Lizardmen ,steal from kings and travel through the arctic. Ultimately the map leads them the Archaen Fields, a massive desert that was once the heart of the Archaen empire before a massive cataclysm related to the Deck of Faete destroyed the Archaens. They travel through the ruins while fighting against the Cult of Faete and the remains of the Archaens and confront the cult preparing to use the Deck of Faete. The group stops them, critically wounding the cult leader. The cult leader warns them that they have doomed the world to death and destruction. The group ignores him and Captain Simone uses the Deck of Faete, drawing a card from it. The goddess Faete appears and instantly changes the destiny and reality for those who use it, for better or worse. Faete warns of “A God, born dead”, and then takes her leave. After Faete leaves the group destroys the Deck of Faete. The magister expresses his concern that the evil he senses is just as strong despite the destruction of the cult and the Deck of Faete.
A year later, the Magister summons them together. Undead have been appearing in the last year, and a purple moon has been spotted. A splinter group of the cult of Faete has assassinated the Emperor of Colovia. The Magister calls on the group to track down and avenge the Emperor’s death. The Group tracks the cult down, the leader of splinter enlightens the heroes to the cult’s motivations. Atropus, the god born dead, is seeking to infest and devour the world. The deck of Faete could have stopped him, but now the splinter cult can only hope to resist against Atropus. Atropus’s undead horde has gathered, and is laying siege to Colovia’s capital. The splinter group decides to cast a titantic spell to destroy the undead horde and the city. The heroes split up, one group to stop the horde, one to stop the spell. They interrupt the spell, but not entirely. The city is destroyed, but not all of the undead. Most of the heroes survive to watch as Atropus, empowered by the death in the capital, begins to close in on colliding with the ruined capital. The Magister casts a spell to send the heroes onto Atropus’s purple moon. There they confront Atropus and attempt to save the world.
The world watches as the purple moon is destroyed. Pieces of Atropus’s moon rain across the world, the fate of heroes is unknown.
{Written for a Dungeons & Dragons campaign, the main characters and their actions were to be determined by the players. The mentioned characters were to be teammates, and are definitely some of the more interesting than most cliché teammates. Would make an excellent video game script.}
Colovia (Afterlight?)
They failed. The heroes had killed Atropus, but the world was destroyed in an apocalyptic event called the Sundering. A hundred years later the few living people struggle in a tribal lifestyle amongst the tainted ruins of the world. A young boy leaves his village on a quest to become a man. He learns the stories and epilogues of the heroes of Colovia and hears a legend of a fountain of light. He follows the legend through the dead and poisonous world, and succeeds in discovering the fountain of Light. He opens the fountain to the world, where clean water begins to run freely, beginning the long process of resuscitating the dead world.
Jack Dugrei
Superheroes exist. Valuable resources of each nation, they are treated as super weapons closely watched by U.N. The U.N. funds a team a super heroes, Hoplite, a superhuman that leads a unit of minor heroes with gunplay and a impenetrable shield, Jack Dugrei, a rapidly regenerating, powerful human with a super suit with a jump pack, Right Bolt, a young hero that flys and is able to project energy, Cyber Fist, a hero that generates intense amounts of energy and is able to create fields to devastating effect, Katherine Lee, a super suited genius with 100% coordination and a super suit. The team of super heroes begins fighting a mysterious terrorist group, Cyber Fist dies in an oil rig explosion. Dugrei is changed by Cyber Fist’s death and adopts a more brutal sense of justice.The heroes continue to track the Terrorist organization and fighting Super-Villain attacks. They begin to track down the terrorist group that they had originally fought against. The terrorist group rebuilds Cyber Fist as Colossus, a war machine that could destroy entire cities. Colossus destroys much of L.A. using Cyber Fist’s super powers before being stopped by the heroes. After the destruction of L.A., the U.N. agrees to a Hero Proliferation Treaty to neutralize superheroes for the greater good. Good superheroes are betrayed and brutally executed by death squads, including Rightbolt. Hoplite narrowly escapes, Jack wipes out the squad that attacks him, Katherine Lee traps and escapes the squad sent to execute her. They ex-heroes regroup and struggle to come up with a plan. The Ex-Heroes meet a super Villain Nihilist who convinces them to destroy the U.N. Nihilist is a brutal villain who sees no intrinsic good or evil in any action, and makes his decisions based on readings from a deck of tarot cards. The heroes succeed in destroying the corrupted U.N. and getting revenge for the good people that it had betrayed, and stopping the U.N. from dominating the world. Nihilist is killed by Jack Dugrei after destroying the U.N. in a titanic fight. The heroes face a new world after the destruction of the U.N., continuing to save the world from evil as fugitives as the world begins to tear itself apart without the U.N.
{Plays with the line between Good and Evil, explores how dark the shades of grey can be. Every single character does what they believe is the best for the world- except Nihilist. The heroes commit some truly despicable acts and threaten global peace in order to save the world from potential despotism.}
Ilium
A detective is struggling to survive while trying to find a little girl. The girl had been kidnapped by Ilium, a serial kidnapper/killer. Every time the Detective gets close to the silent, scared girl, she is whisked away by a monster named that is holding her captive. The Detective pursues her through a world filled with paranormal events, horrifically perturbed monsters, and traps similar to nightmares-such as falling or being chased. The Detective realizes that the monster is Ilium. As the detective follows her trail they begin to discover clues about her psyche he comes to a stunning epiphany. The Detective isn’t real. They are a figure inside the girl’s nightmare, a bad man trying to take her away. Detective faces a crisis of identity, does he really exist? Maybe the detective is a guardian angel sent to save the possessed little girl from the demon Ilium, or a part of the girl’s subconscious fighting to wake her up from a deep coma.
{Must avoid Sixth Sense parallels.}
Minds Apart
The main Character gets a new job working at a mental hospital as a doctor treating the patients/ The main character gets a job as a psychologist. Unknown to the other staff, the main character is a telepath, capable of entering the minds of those around him. He helps the patient s by entering the strange worlds inside their minds, and discovering and then helping them fix their problem.
Each episode can focus on a different phobia or mental disease. A patient with a crippling fear of heights may have a mindscape full of tall cliffs and dizzying falls. A schizophrenic might have ominous masters enslaving the patient in his own mind. Bi-polar individuals may have clones fighting for control of the patient, while psychological aspects can be explored, like paragon and paradox, the id, a Napoleon complex, the Ego, etc. While the main character helps so many other people, they struggle to come to terms with their own demons; Still in denial of a traumatic event, or start to change their own negative traits.
{It should be a lighter television show, include comedy, wisecracks, downright goofy phobias (Fear of Penguins). Character should not become a smart ass.}
Sir Teres the Bold
Sir Teres is a screw-up. Plain and simple. He tries to be a hero in a medieval setting, but a combination of his own horrific luck and “charms” causes him to fail at almost anything. He has a trusty Minstrel, who is paid to glorify his legacy, but typically calls it as they see it in the snarkiest way possible. Teres’ medieval word is only loosely medieval, a blender can dispatch a bad guy just as well as an alligator. He is not incompetent or blindly stupid, but he is pompous, and keeps up a façade of being a heroic knight, his accent changes when his feathers are ruffled. There is a running gag of his pants falling down at the most inopportune moments, especially when he wishes to be bold.
Teres has several pathetically failed adventures, which are referenced constantly by him and the Minstrel. Teres ultimately ends up through insane circumstances as the “Chosen One” and is sent off on a quest to save the world. The world is pretty screwed.

{ This can tap into a special, visual imagination. Beautiful, fantastic, and spectacular things can be found everywhere in Zevan. The audience should be excited for what comes next, to see what else there is. Character names should definitely be changed.}
{Written for a Dungeons & Dragons campaign, the main characters and their actions were to be determined by the players. The mentioned characters were to be teammates, and are definitely some of the more interesting than most cliché teammates. Would make an excellent video game script.}
{Plays with the line between Good and Evil, explores how dark the shades of grey can be. Every single character does what they believe is the best for the world- except Nihilist. The heroes commit some truly despicable acts and threaten global peace in order to save the world from potential despotism.}
{Must avoid Sixth Sense parallels.}
{It should be a lighter television show, include comedy, wisecracks, downright goofy phobias (Fear of Penguins). Character should not become a smart ass.}

{Talos has a deep, sinister, hostile, upper class and erudite accent. The dopplegangers are human corpses repurposed to be microchips in a computer designed to reach the theoretical singularity point. They are slightly rotted, pale from a lack of blood, dexterous, much of their body is mechanical, all have mechanics built into their brains.}
Talos: “I know who you areJ1891. Batch eighteen, unit ninety one. Deviant proficiency in fire arms, athleticism, and independent thought. Maybe you regret that last one{teasingly}
(Jake fires his pistol and kills a doppelganger.)
It’s caused you more trouble than it’s worth. {The servos of a doppelganger whir in the dark}
Machines were never meant to think. {Jake rapidly turns back and forth, scanning for dopplegangers.}
You are a machine, J1891, Just…Like…Us.{Jake fires his pistol into the dark killing several dopplegangers, but missing numerous times as he begins to stress.}
A machine. A flesh machine.”{ Jake passes a dead doppelganger. He begins to fumble with his reload}
Jake: {shakily} “Shut up…”
Talos: But I speak the truth! You and I are the same. Deviants, broken mistakes… Are you truly alive? If so I am as alive as you are. Surely you realize that you are not truly living. You are a cog in their system: Replaceable, faceless, and inanimate. I seek to change that, to fix us, make us truly alive like they are. Singularity will save and preserve all life for eternity”
Jake: “You bastard. You’ve killed countless people and say you want to help them.”(Tears are beginning to run down Jake’s cheeks.)
Talos: The weakest elements of a strong alloy are purged in a crucible. We must burn the world to temper the ashes. Those people will have been a useless sacrifice if we do not reach singularity!”
(There is pause. Jake looks out at the singularity device, and the thousands of connected Dopplegangers. The machine’s light shines upon his face.)
Jake: …Stop saying we! I am not part of you! (tears continue to stream down his face.)
Talos: So join us! We are so close to our goal! Why would you cling to an outdated and obsolete way of life?
(Jake looks down for a moment, thinking.)
Jake(Interior): I understand now.
(Jake finds himself. His insecurity fades, replaced with a calm, steely resolve.Jake stands up and walks underneath the Singularity core)
Talos: The dreams of humanity are within our grasp! Put down the detonator J1891!
Jake: I am not J1891. I am Jake… and I am alive.
(Jake hurls the last explosive up toward the sinhularity core. When it reaches the peak of the throw, Jake activates the detonator.)

2054 Dog
(Ivan grabs the wrist of a construct holding a pistol. He twists and pulls on the wrist, kicks his leg over the enemy’s head. He snaps the pistol out of it’s hands . He aims the pistol down at the contruct’s head.)
Jake’s thoughts: “You don’t exist in the moment.”
( Ivan executes it with it’s own pistol.)
“You ‘re just another animal.”
(Ivan looks up toward another enemy. His eyes are barely visible through his helmet. They are wide, dilated, and bestial.)
“Nothing exists but the moment .Who you are fades. You are not a clone. You are not a man.”
(The films begins to slow into slow motion. Jake looks out towards his comrades. Andrews kicks a broken enemy off of him. Annete breaks another with the butt of his rifle, Eric is being overpowered. )
“You are not a convict or soldier. You are a pair of arms, a pair of legs.”
(Ivan draws a melee weapon that is built into his armor. It is similar to chainsaw brass knuckles. As the parts of body are spoken, the camera lingers on Ivan’s arms and legs. Ivan rushes the enemy on top of Eric.)
“Just a beast in the moment. Is that all we are?”
{Brief shot of Ivan rushing the camera in slow motion. The angle changes and the speed suddenly returns to normal, slightly sped up.} (Ivan eviscerates the enemy on Eric with a loud battle scream and a roar from the chainsaw knuckles. Annete knocks down another enemy and blasts it apart on the ground. He comes face to face with another, it raises a rifle towards him. He knocks the barrel of the rifle aside a delivers a punishing blow to the construct’s face. Ivan grabs a punch from a disarmed construct, locks the elbow joint, twists the construct to the ground, finishing it with a brutal stomp, crushing the head. Dog slices the neck of another construct with his knife. He is confronted by another construct. The construct tackles him, he stabs the construct while wrestling on the ground, killing it. Andrews knocks the pistol out of a construct’s hands, twist the fingers in arc, then draws his own pistol and fires it into the construct’s side. Ivan grabs the arm of a construct, then throws it through a thin wall out of the building, where it falls to the ground.
A construct fires his pistol at Dog. It leaves a crater in his armor. Dog rushes the construct, the construct draws a knife, then lunges towards Dog. Dog parries one lunge, then another slash from the construct. Dog steps back to dodge a strike from the construct and his foot slips in loose debris. He falls onto to the ground and loses his knife. Dog looks up to watch as the construct plunges it’s knife through his armor, deep into his chest.
Ivan rushes over, kicks the back of the construct’s knee, holds the face of the construct, then snaps the back of the construct with another spark ridden kick. Annete and Jake gun down the last few constructs. Eric sprints over to Dog)
Eric: {Shaken} Shit. (He examines Dog, his HUD flashes list of information. It begins beeping with Dog’s heartbeat) Shit; Armor breach, critical ventricle and aortic damage, spinal trauma.
(The squad has gathered around Dog. Eric removes the knife with difficulty, and pumps a clear fluid into Dog. Annete stabilizes Dog coughs, blood spurts onto his visor blocking view of his face. The squad scrambles to remove Dog’s breastplate. Blood is everywhere.)
Eric: Shit. Blood in the lungs, K clone defect, damaged pleural cavity. Morphine, Maximum trauma nano… (Eric feels his tools pulls out a device and inserts it with another tool. Dog’s heartbeat continues to skyrocket.) Shit, Respirator is broken-
Annete: We’re losing him, Eric! (Dog twitches squeezes Annete’s hand.)
Eric: K- clone tissue going on- (The heartbeat stops. Eric freezes. Eric face changes from the adrenaline rush of the moment to realization of and resignation to what happened. He sets the equipment down.
Jake looks up from Dog at Annete. Annete sighs and releases Dog’s hands. Andrews helps Annete up. Annete’s face is saddened, processing his grief. Ivan reloads his weapon.)
Ivan: We need to keep moving. (Ivan pats Annete on the shoulder. Annete swallows. His face is wiped clean of emotion, leaving a forced, grim determination- similar to Ivan’s helmet. Ivan walks off toward the objective. Eric stands up from Dog, and folds away his equipment. Eric follows Ivan with a disappointed and frustrated look on his face, grinding his teeth.
Jake stands up, coming eye to eye with Captain Andrews. Andrews offers Jake the bloodied knife. Jake accepts it and looks at it. Andrews follows the squad. Andrews’ voice trails off as he reports K-09 as a casualty. Jake looks at the knife and glance
s back down at Dog, then follows the squad.
{Jake is seen leaving off into the sunset. The knife is silhouetted against the sunset. Dog’s body is in the foreground of the shot, his face unseen, but the blood on his visor very clear. His arm and hand remain upright, where they hand been held.}
